Gone Editin'

WORD. We're in Philly wrapping up editing for book #2, but both Chris and I will be back in full force FOR GOODZIES and FOR REALZIES on Monday. In the mean time, do we have readers in Nebraska? Becca and I will be in Omaha next Wednesday-Friday and we wouldn't hate sharing an ear of corn with you. Let me know!

I hope it's true, but why would any of your dedicated readers believe it when you've said it before and it hasn't happened? Hope it's for real this time. I miss this blog.

It was a good idea to wait 3 weeks to tell your readers that.

I agree with Anonymous #2, but I also think it's ridiculous and hilarious when people get legitimately angry at being 'betrayed' and 'lied to' when there are no blog posts for a while. it's going to be okay, everyone. just chill out.

Suggestion, maybe announce that BEFORE you disappear for weeks on end. Might placate some people and save you some fans

I'm really excited to read these books. Is there going to be a release party? I am not too fancy to hop on a mega bus to DC for an autograph and a sticker.

I HATE THIS BLOG SO MUCH THAT I'M NEVER GOING TO READ IT AGAIN, BUT I AM GOING TO COME BACK EVERY DAY TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH YOU SUCK!!!

Anonymouses, here's a tip: get a life.

Meg, you are truly the prodigal son - no matter how long you go away for, or what your reason is, we always welcome you back with open arms and a pocket full of gummy fangs. Can't wait to order the books!

Angry anonymous clearly does not understand what goes into having books published. Not that I know everything, but anyone who took high school English should know editing is a big step in the process.

Glad to hear things are getting done on the book front, patiently looking forward to consistent updates in the future! Enjoy Omaha, and let us know about book release celebrations...even if we just have to flash mob a bar of your choosing.

No foolsies!?

I'm sick of my google reader showing zero updates for your blog. Every day there isn't a post, an angel dies. Or an orphan ... whichever is sadder.

Oh crap. I was totally going to make you a lowball offer for the
2B1B url to artificially boost my own traffic!

Thank you for the update! A little info goes a long way! :)

OMG I am so excited for your posts about Omaha. There has to be a good story behind why you are going, otherwise, um, there are a few other places to go that are more fun. Sleep with a nice midwestern boy for me!

You better be! The disappointment at no posts is too great to bear haha. I need your blog for stress relief!!

As frustrating as it is when you go long periods without posting, I'll always come back to read when you do. Looking forward to more frequent updates. :)

Yay!! So glad to see there's hope on the horizon...and as others already said, true fans will welcome you with open arms. Already pre-ordered the book!

Dre wouldn't let the haters get him down, and neither should you.

I live in the Philly area! If you're around king of Prussia, stop in at Maggiano's and I'll treat you to some yummy Italian food! Maggiano's loves 2b1b :-)

I'm in Philly! You meet up with fans in other cities, amirite? Give Phila some love ladies!

First of all, please follow the immortal advice of Kelly Rowland and "shake them haters off". How can people expect you to constantly regale us with adventures from your life when you're constantly expected to meet their fascist blogging deadlines and not spend your time adventuring?

Secondly, you two (Meg and Chris) need to know that this is probably the best blog that I have ever read. I found it last month when I decided that I wanted to start sharing my blog with another person and decided to google "co-blogger" to see if anybody was doing it and how it was working out for them. That's the second best google-search decision I've ever made. This blog is hysterical.

Thirdly, I went to Omaha about a decade ago when I was in junior high and I'm pretty sure that you can see everything worth seeing in a moderately productive 36 hours. However, should your book tour take you to Southern California...please do tell.
